Called in here while on holiday. It's like stepping back in time, with pictures and memorabilia from the early 20th century. There is a very good variety of drinks. I rated the food highly as a result of ordering a round and when the barman asked what I wanted to drink, I told him I didn't drink. He offered me a cup of tea which I accepted, when he brought it through, brought a plate of crackers, cheese and grapes. It's a lovely place to spend time in and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit at any time of year. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Out in the farmers home tonight , exceptional service from the very pleasant bar man . We mentioned it was cold and within minutes he lit a fire for us . What a fab experience in this unique pub . Looking forward to returning very soon
