After drooling at the photos I found online, I decided to pop in for lunch. Service was great, the man behind the counter was very polite and helpful to the newbie in front of me. 1/3 lb burgers how could you go wrong? I ordered a single Fatso combo ($10) which is a burger with all the trimmings including fries, bacon, and an onion ring, a side of fries and a can of pop. The burger was ok - large, quality beef, juicy. The bun,while tasty, didn't hold up to the toppings. And their special sauce has an odd aftertaste that I can't quite put my finger on. I'm glad I stopped in to see what I was missing, but honestly I don't think I will ever crave Fatso's. It was an average burger and decent fries. And really, a can of pop? For a ten dollar combo I think you can spring for a soda fountain. Overall not bad, but not deserving of a "have to stop there" recommendation.

This place has such great potential but makes one fatal error when cooking burgers. I will go into detail in a minute. The first time I went here I felt I was in for a treat because it is a small joint with a neat burger drawing with the burger broken down. It seemed like a fun place and the guy working there seemed to know what he was doing. I ordered the Fatso fries, the Fatso dog, and the cheese burger. I know, I know I felt like being a disgusting fat ass that day but I really wanted to try the two things they were known for, the burger and the Fatso Dog, which I found out was actually on TV, cool. Trust me though I did not finish ALL this food but came close. The Fries were good-no issue there. The Fatso Dog was really good. It was a hot dog wrapped up with fries, and fried. I enjoyed it but it was a little much for me, but very good quality and an excellent munchy item that I highly recommend indeed. Now onto the burger. It was burnt as hell! The dude overcooked it to the point where it was dry as hell and boring. I did not ask for well done let alone well, well, well, well done! I did not finish this burger that costed over $10. I am sorry if you are going to charge that much do not cook the damn thing to death, then it takes away from the taste of the meat. I felt like I was licking an old dirty ass grill. I returned here again on another day to give that burger another shot, especially since it smells so damn good as I leave the gym next door everyday. Nope, the burger was still scorched to death. Screw this I will not be back. The Fatso Dog is damn good but I do not need it in my life, but I highly recommend it regardless.
