I recently surprised my partner with a birthday dinner here. The mocktails, corn ribs, and squash fettuccine were all great. The saffron risotto was watery and bland. There is an automatic 20% gratuity added, which I am okay with — however, our server never once checked in on us after we got our food. For the price point, we both left pretty underwhelmed and I don’t think we’ll be back. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60

Warning! Feral's delicious food may convert you to veganism. My husband and I are not vegan, or even vegetarian, but we have dined at Feral three times in the past couple of months. We used to walk right past, not realizing that plant-based cuisine could truly be as or more flavorful and satisfying than dishes using animal products. I also like that they change up their menu, which will encourage us to keep coming back to see what they are up to. The folks in the kitchen really know what they are doing; I wish they would publish a cookbook! Some outstanding dishes we have tried: focaccia with tomatoes (best we have had) summer squash fettucini, cavatelli with eggplant, little gem salad, cucumber tostada, and a ravioli type dish with a yummy French green sauce. The cocktails and service are also great. I highly recommend Feral to all hungry diners, vegan or not.
