I’m sorry to hear you came away feeling like that Helena. Whether we agree on everything that happened or not, nobody should leave feeling unwelcome or upset after a night out. Just to clear up one point, the £5 cloakroom charge isn’t something we make money from. Roughly half goes towards the insurance cover for items left with us, and the other half helps cover the staff and running costs of the cloakroom itself. What concerns me more is how you’ve said you felt you were treated. I wasn’t there at the time, so I can only go on what you’ve told me, but I’ll certainly look into it and speak to the team. If someone has left feeling dismissed or handled in a way that didn’t feel right, then that’s something I’d want to understand.
