would be cool if we could actually do something. anytime you go courts are taken by volleyball practice. & even if they’re not actively there, they still won’t set anything up for you. the other is basketball or other practices going on. was told we had to play pickleball outside even though none of the volley ball courts were taken. had one person one time willing to set it up for us. ever since, haven’t they have told us no. what’s the point in being open to the public if the public can’t even enjoy it without renting the entire court out.. makes no sense to advertise as a “free for all” even with a day pass you can’t do any activities..

Very Disappointing Experience The Field House constantly advertises itself as a facility “for the community,” but that has not been my experience at all. Nearly every time I visit, the indoor courts are reserved for private parties, events, or organized teams, leaving little to no space for the general public. If you’re coming here expecting to actually use the facilities you help support, think again. To make matters worse, pickleball players are often pushed outside into the Texas heat while perfectly good indoor court space is unavailable. On top of that, multiple courts are routinely occupied by volleyball practices, taking up a huge portion of the gym. It feels like the needs of everyday community members are an afterthought. If this facility wants to market itself as being “for the community,” it should make a genuine effort to provide reasonable access to the community instead of prioritizing private reservations and organized groups nearly all the time. The advertising and the reality do not match, and that’s extremely frustrating.

I would probably give this place 4 stars, because our visit started out okay. However, this venue is partially organized chaos. We had a group of preteens wanting to have fun on the field only to be bullied (hit on and called racial slurs) and terrorized by older kids who were apparently there unsupervised. As a parent wanting to talk to the other kids parent, a staff member had the audacity to ask US to leave!!! I'll never spend a second of my time, let alone, another penny in this establishment!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
