I always enjoy coming to First Watch and have visited several locations throughout Colorado. This was my first time at this location, and while it was still a good experience overall, it wasn’t quite as impressive as some of the others. The restaurant has the same bright, welcoming atmosphere as any other First Watch, but it felt a bit more compact, making it somewhat difficult to move around when it was busy. I ordered the waffle, a coffee, and the Million Dollar Potatoes. The food was good, but I wish it had been served hotter. It was warm enough to eat, but it didn’t taste freshly made, it felt more like it had been sitting under a warmer for a while before being brought to the table. The coffee also took an unusually long time to come out, which surprised me considering it was just a cup of black coffee. While waiting, I noticed our server sitting in the booth behind us chatting with what appeared to be his family. I have no issue with staff interacting with family or friends, but customers should still be taken care of in a timely manner, and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our visit. Overall, I’d still come back because I generally enjoy First Watch, but this location didn’t quite live up to the standard I’ve come to expect from the chain. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
