Dear Julene, We are very saddened and at the same a bit surprised for your feedback. We do all our best to make all our guests feeling welcome and appreciated since the very first moment they enter our doors and apologize this was not your experience. It is important to say that we are an hotel offering also a nice and innovative Mixology Bar and Bistrot with an outdoor terrace, where service is “on call” with an electronic bell from 7am till 5pm. This terrace is also very used during this time slot by many of our hotel guests, who take a sit just to relax for a while or while waiting for other guests, and do not require any food or beverage service. In effect, thanks to your feedback we verified that one of our electronic bells was not working and this is the reason why none of our waiters came to your table. And when he/she came out to clean another table, he/she did not realize – wrongly – that you were waiting to order. Even though in the past we were considered a bit too “pushy” from some our hotel guests, I have already given instructions to our waiters to pay more attention and always ask even if the “may” think it not necessary. That being said, I’m sure that a small gesture to get their attention would have been very helpful to avoid your feeling of not being considered. Our mission is clearly to serve all our guests in the best possible way, keeping also in mind that no one is perfect and mistakes and/or misunderstandings may always occur.
