Flamingo Heritage has some of the best pub food around. We would go there after our softball games, we had great service and their food was fantastic. Their pizza is delicious!! I have yet to try out any other Flamingo locations in Edmonton but i sure hope they're as good as this one.

Not what it used to be..... Went last night. Sad to hear the cook using the microwave constantly. Ordered the turkey soup, microwaved. Mine was mediocre warm and the other one was piping hot. Ordered a clubhouse with fries and gravy and an appetizer platter. The gravy was not what it used to be. The fries were rock hard, seemed like the cook had previously fried them, and then re-fried to warm up. The clubhouse was so dry. The bread was rock hard, bacon was hard and the turkey was very very dry. Now for the platter, everything was cold. The wings we couldn't even eat. They were so overcooked there was nothing left on the bone. Chicken strips were dried out and over cooked. The rest (dry ribs, shrimp and zucchini sticks) were edible but nothing special. The best thing on the platter was the celery and carrot sticks (of which we had to ASK for ranch dressing for). We had ordered this before and it was much better, portion size was even more than this time. Probably won't be going back for a while. :-(

Excellent Pizza. With some of the bad reviews and a change in management, I just about didn't go back to Flamingo. Last time we were there which was fall of 2013, the pizza was still superb. In fact our guest, said "this is the best pizza I've ever had!!!" I gave it one last chance yesterday with a friend who knows excellent pizza. There were only two of us and we ate the entire X Large pizza ourselves. No pizza for breakfast. Stuffed we were, but it is still one of the best places for pizza in Edmonton.

We spent the afternoon there and in to the evening. About 5, the restaurant started filling up. Lots of seniors, lots of families with kids came in and I saw lots of people cleaning their plates. That speaks for itself. Good Luck to the New Owner with the same great recipes and food!!!
