Dropped in recently on impulse as my car was being worked on nearby and spent several hours. I did not try the food. Service was fantastic with coffee brought to my table each time I ordered. Coffee was, by my own standards, fantastic and not bitter. The layout was open and welcoming and quite stylish. The loos were kept in good condition and the availability of a coat rack was good to see. Overall, a fantastic little cafe. Next time, I'll be sure to try the food! We came here for drinks last night and had a couple of cocktails each (Pina Colada, Espresso Martini, 1930’a Cosmopolitan and their own Flamingo Spritz) all of which were incredible. We then got chatting to the owner who mentioned they did breakfast… so back we came and wow! What a good idea it was. I had the Eggs Benedict and my partner had the Avocado on toast. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the seasoning was spot on. We will be making the Flamingo@23 our new breakfast spot! When you visit make sure you keep an eye out for the special flamingos painted around the room - they are the owners pride and joy.
