Discovered it by chance close to the market square and was warmly invited in by the waitress. We enjoyed various wines and beers + a grilled cheese bread. Gladly again!

Great wine and delicious food but unfortunately totally overpriced. It's a shame, the landlord was very unfriendly. It was obvious that if you weren't a local, you had no business there. First and last time, not recommended

The wine bar in Floringasse has been an important meeting place in the old town since the 1950s. Away from the drinking miles and somewhat hidden, those in the know have always been able to eat something in peace, drink wine and philosophize across the tables. In 2019, Annika and Lino took over the shop and turned the culinary inside out, but the rustic atmosphere has been preserved. The small menu currently only includes various sandwiches and daily specials from the soup kettle, every few weeks there is a multi-course menu with accompanying wines. Speaking of wines: The Florinstube relies primarily on spontaneously fermented, unfiltered and unsulphurised wines. There are a surprising number of them in the open bar and the advice is very good, for the first steps with natural wine there is no better spot far and wide. And if you find a new favorite drop right away, you can pack a bottle of it to take home with you at the same time. For curious wine lovers, the Florinstube is exactly the pub that Heidelberg has been missing.
