One of the best courses near San antonio! Very well maintained, crushed granite bunkers, great greens. Worth the drive for sure!

Flying L golf course is terrible! Booked an $85 tee time online (mediocre course) and when you get there they charge you another $20 for a cart. The golf carts are micromanaged by the “pro shop” so when you drive to find your ball, they deactivate your cart!! You’ll have to wait 5 minutes for them to send a signal to reactivate the cart or it goes on a timer (from the Marshall). Therefore, you have to push your cart out!! Terrible place to drive 45 minutes to = waste of time and money! Trees everywhere and you can’t tell where most fairways are.

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. The prices are correct and posted accurately. We do have GPS carts to protect our greens and fairways so you must stay in the designated areas. They also have screens of the course.
