Aquí vas a pagar unos precios adecuados. Este restaurante tiene una atmósfera singular y una decoración hogareña. Pero Foresters' Inn no ha obtenido una puntuación muy alta por parte de los usuarios de Google.

The Foresters always seems strangely quiet and we’d seen some pretty poor reviews online, so we weren’t really sure what to expect. We were doing pottery next door and decided to have lunch here because it was convenient — we enjoyed it so much that we came back for lunch a second time! Both visits were excellent. Grace looked after us on one occasion and was fantastic, really attentive, friendly and helpful. In fact, the service was great on both visits. Also I think a waitress on the second was Darcy, who was excellent, and a tall young man smartly dressed with fair hair, really engaging. The food was equally good. The ham, egg and chips was beautifully presented and, importantly, came with proper sliced ham! The chocolate mousse, however, was absolutely to die for. The white chocolate decoration is painted onto the glass and I nearly broke the thing trying to get every last bit off! Confession: I had two chocolate mousses. That should probably tell you everything you need to know. Seriously good. It was weirdly quiet on both occasions, which is a shame because our experience certainly didn’t reflect some of the negative reviews we’d seen. I also don’t think the construction work taking place immediately outside is doing the restaurant any favours at the moment. One request to Center Parcs: please bring back the breakfasts The Foresters used to serve! We remember them being amazing, particularly the full English, and we’d love to see them return. I highly recommend giving The Foresters a try. It might look a little posh from the outside, but don’t let that put you off — underneath it’s serving honest, down-to-earth, really good food with great service. Definitely worth a visit. And did I mention the chocolate mousse? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £80–90

Could be a really good place for a casual meal or a drink, but the prices they charge for the level of service provided is not great. Either improve the service or lower the prices. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

During our weekend stay, we visited this restaurant on two separate days, and the difference between the two experiences was unbelievable. The restaurant itself is in a fantastic location and has a lovely setting, making it a very attractive place to dine. Unfortunately, the quality of the service falls far short of what such a venue should offer. On our first visit, we were looked after by Sarah, who was friendly, attentive, and genuinely excellent at her job. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, checked on us regularly, and provided outstanding customer service. She completely changed our opinion after our previous visit three years ago, when the service was virtually non-existent, the food was dreadful, and it was the first time in my life that I had asked for the service charge to be removed. Sadly, when we returned on a different day during the same weekend, the experience was completely different and proved that our excellent first visit was clearly down to Sarah rather than the restaurant itself. What made it even more disappointing was that the restaurant wasn't any busier than it had been on our first visit. In fact, during the 30 minutes we waited to be acknowledged, we were the only table to arrive. Despite this, not a single member of staff greeted us, acknowledged our presence, or even said they would be with us shortly. We eventually spoke to the manager, whose only explanation was that they were short-staffed and that we should use the QR code to order instead. I'm sorry, but that is simply not acceptable. I don't come to a restaurant to order my own food on my phone. What's next—being asked to go into the kitchen and cook it myself? Technology should be an option, not an excuse for poor customer service. I genuinely feel sorry that someone as professional and capable as Sarah has to work under management that appears to have such poor customer service skills and so little regard for its guests. Being short-staffed is not an excuse for completely ignoring customers, especially when the restaurant was clearly not overwhelmed. A simple acknowledgement, an apology, or even an update on the delay would have gone a long way. It's incredibly disappointing that such a beautiful venue in such a prime location is let down by such poor management and inconsistent service. Sarah deserves recognition for her excellent customer service, but unfortunately one exceptional member of staff cannot compensate for an unacceptable overall experience. Based on our experiences, this has to be the worst restaurant at Centre Parcs. A great location alone isn't enough—without good management, basic customer service, and leadership, it's simply a missed opportunity. Meal type: Lunch
