First time dining here, the lady who greeted us was warm and friendly however the lady who took our orders seemed rather cold and short towards us. We had the 3 course festive meal and opted for the carvery, the food seemed lukewarm and the roasties were solid and dry, we heard another table complain about them. The place was cold as they had windows open 2 tables asked to move away from the window, I think they're having an issue with the fire perhaps? I would return to give it another go but I wouldn't have the carvery.

We tend to go on a Saturday and have a Carvery which in our opinion is great value for money and is the best in the area, however, this was our first Sunday Carvery at the Fox Inn I can say that the pork was brilliant however the Venison was fatty I had to leave most of the venison as I found it uneatable, there was a great selection of vegetables as advertised but the garlic potatoes were not as nice as the Saturday's Carvery, we will visit again but not have the Venison probably have the Lamb next time.
