I recently dined at Fresh Japanese Noodles restaurant and wanted to share my honest feedback. Unfortunately, my experience was not satisfactory. Below is my payment history. The sashimi in particular was not up to the expected standard. The fish appeared discolored and had an unpleasant sour taste, with a less than ideal texture. Also, I am very disappointed with their service. When I tried to discreetly ask the question to the service staff, I received no response or help. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, a racist Japanese chef came to me in a confrontational manner, questioned my background (simply because I am Chinese), and said some derogatory words, such as China People don’t understand sashimi. The chef even thought that I couldn't tell the difference between salmon and tuna. I expressed my dissatisfaction that the tuna was not fresh, but he said that the taste of tuna and salmon was different. I asked the chef to taste it himself, but he refused to taste it himself. Even the top chef should taste it first if there is something wrong with the dish, unless he knows that it is inedible at all. This behavior makes no sense and is unprofessional. As a seasoned traveler and lover of authentic food, I believe providing honest feedback is essential. I have been to more than 20 countries in the world, and my girlfriend and I have traveled to Japan many times. Although I am not a professional chef, I can still taste the freshness of raw food. While I understand the chef's pride in Japanese heritage, it's worth noting that multiple East Asian countries have their own rich traditions when it comes to eating sashimi. What's more, this restaurant sells beer from China, imitating Chinese fried noodles, and many MSG-blended noodle soups. He blamed me for affecting his business, attacked my background, and said that I was not a chef and did not understand his cooking. He wanted to kick me out of the restaurant, trying to portray me as a liar, someone who didn't want to pay and didn't understand Japanese food. I still paid for the noodles I ate. Because I know that in a foreign country, you may make changes to cater to the local tastes. But I can't pay for a plate of sashimi that's not fresh and might cause me gastrointestinal problems. I just want to prove that my bad review about him is not because of the price. Your business is only affected by deceptive dishes and poor service (I asked the service several times to step in, but she refused). Fake Japanese food that deceives travelers.
