Customer service isn’t the best at all I love matcha and thought I’d try fresh x as I always go to Blanc Street or black sheep for a blue berry matcha however when I ordered a blueberry matcha The whole drink was green when normally there’s a bit of blue at the bottom and you mix it Once I took a sip I could not taste any blueberry inside Apart from the matcha powder so I went inside and requested to have a pump of blueberry matcha To the girl at the till as I thought they forgot to put it inside she then turned to the owner to say that I said it doesn’t taste of blueberry he said to me that they only put three pumps of blueberry syrup inside I said to him well it doesn’t taste like there’s any blueberry in it at all but he was a bit hesitant to add another pump even though I said to him I could not taste it and maybe they forgot to put it inside. I wouldn’t Recommend coming here if you are a regular Macha drinker as the owner makes out like you’re lying about the taste and doesn’t want to add another pump as they are strict with their three pump measurement. Our blueberry matcha is prepared using a standard recipe that includes three pumps of blueberry syrup, which is the amount we use consistently in every drink. I visited for the first time and tried the split pistachio matcha and strawberry matcha. The pistachio matcha was excellent full of flavour and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the strawberry matcha lacked taste and was disappointing. The venue itself is lovely, but the atmosphere felt uncomfortable at times due to the behaviour of some customers. Overall, there is potential, but improvements in consistency and ambience would enhance the experience. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
