Best working brunch spot in Arcata!! great playlist, cozy atmosphere that’s very conducive to focusing on work and of course, Squirrel brings the vibes! I added sunny side up eggs to the freshly made ,delicious bunh mi and topped it off with a melt in your mouth, Hot out of the oven macaroon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Total confusion with the hours at this place. Google says open at 8am, Yelp says 9am, but the sign on the door says 10am — three different answers, none of them matching. We planned our morning around Yelp, showed up at 9:45, and the place was completely dark. Nobody there. When someone finally arrived right at 10, they were clearly rushing to open with zero prep done. If you’re a business owner who cares about your customers, keeping your hours updated on Google, Yelp, and your own door is the bare minimum. We left without ordering. Hard to trust a place that can’t get the basics right. Meal type: Breakfast Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This coffee shop is close to the university and next to a laundromat. The spot itself is clean and has beautiful artwork displayed. It also has a mini stage for performers and a bar area where they serve beer and wine…I ordered a frothy coconut latte, that was delicious! And chocolate croissants, those were flat and crispy, so delicious! Service was nice and excellent coffee! Great place to hang out! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
