Fryingpan Express is a solid spot for hot chicken! The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are really generous—you definitely won’t leave hungry. The service was quick, which made it super convenient for a lunch stop. The chicken sandwich was flavorful and spicy. The bulgogi sandwich was not great. Overall, it’s a great place to grab a tasty meal without spending too much. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving hot chicken! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I recently visited Fryingpan Express for Hot Chicken, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The restaurant is an open space with minimal design, featuring extremely cheap decor and tables that don’t create a welcoming atmosphere. While it wasn’t dirty, it also wasn’t very clean, which added to the overall lackluster ambiance. For the food, I ordered a mild hotness chicken burger with fries and a Coke. The presentation was very basic—fries were dumped in a basket with the burger on top, reminiscent of something you might get at a diner. The portion size was disappointing; the burger was quite small, and the fries were nothing special. The chicken in the burger was thick and juicy, which was a plus, but the flavor left a lot to be desired. The “mild” hotness was overwhelming, and I’m someone who enjoys spicy food. It seemed like the heat was used to mask the blandness of the chicken. The burger itself was very basic—just the chicken and bread, with a tiny portion of coleslaw and a single slice of pickle drowned in condiments. Even the little things, like the ketchup packets and napkins, screamed cheap. The ketchup was in single-use packets like you’d find at a fast-food joint, and the napkins were the flimsy type you might see in a gas station restroom. Overall, Fryingpan Express for Hot Chicken seems to cut corners at every opportunity, which shows in both the service and food quality.
