We had a delicious and memorable experience here last November. Our first visit together in Japan and Yura was a village where her grandmother was born until she immigrated to California to marry around 1910. Our wonderful guide, Naoko-san who helped us with our Awaji Island visit selected this perfect place for us so close to my wife’s grandmothers home for a fantastic lunch. The sushi was local, varied and delicious. The husband and wife proprietors were gracious and skilled. We had many wonderful meals during our month long stay in Japan but Fujiichi holds a special place for us. All the things that makes Japan so special can be found in this warm, friendly and delicious sushi restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
