We found it yesterday online and decided since we had to be in Longview today, let's give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. From the reviews it seemed like a good place but everyone has an opinion so we went in not expecting much. It is pretty nondescript on the outside. It's in a shopping center and they have painted the windows so it does stand out. We had the scallion pancakes, EXCELLENT. 12 out of 10. I also had the stir fried noodles with chicken. They were good, nothing to knock your socks off, but ok. Then the waiter brought me their house made chili oil... and BAM. They went from a 7 out of 10 to an 11 out of 10. My wife had the Godzilla roll. She loved it and said it was one of the best rolls she has had. I had a piece and really enjoyed it as well. Not the best to me but damn good. 9 out of 10. Over all, we spent less then 40 bucks on 3 dishes and 2 drinks of tea, and a bottle of sake, so VERY economical. Plus they were hand making the noodles as we watched so the show alone was worth the price of a meal!!! Please go and enjoy. I think you will be VERY glad you did! The service here was impeccable. The staff was super attentive. I was seated immediately and immediately had a waitress come to take my drink order. I needed a few minutes to look over the menu as I had not been here before. The hostess kept an eye on me so when I set my menu down she immediately told the waitress I was ready to order. The decor is gorgeous to look at. There were TVs with sports on to watch. There was music playing but not too loud to where you cannot carry on a conversation. It was nice to be able to watch the people making the food through the windows. This was the first time I came here I decided I wanted to try some of the same things that I have tried at another noodle restaurant to see how they compared. To go to the other places a lot further of a drive for me and if this place could deliver the same quality of food it would be a great help. After the first bite I knew that this is definitely going to be a place that I will be coming to again. I brought all my leftovers to work with me and immediately was messaging my co-worker to come and try the food. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu.

I have to start by saying how amazing our waitress, Brook, was—but more on that in a minute. Our family recently visited Fun Noodle Bar, and everything we ordered was outstanding. The cute pig-shaped custard dumplings were almost too adorable to eat, but they tasted even better than they looked. The custard filling was rich, smooth, and perfectly sweet. The black garlic ramen with chicken was packed with flavor. The broth was rich and savory with just the right amount of garlic, and the chicken was tender and plentiful. The Godzilla Roll was a standout as well, loaded with flavor and beautifully prepared. The California Roll was fresh and well-made, proving that even the classics are done right here. The crab rangoons were crispy on the outside with a creamy, flavorful filling, and the egg drop soup was comforting and delicious. The shrimp tempura bento box offered a great variety, and the shrimp tempura was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter. Now back to Brook. She wasn’t just good—she was great. During our meal, she noticed my son’s Minecraft shirt and mentioned that she liked Minecraft too. A little later, she surprised him by giving him her own green Minecraft Creeper pen that she had in her apron. That simple act absolutely made his night and turned a great dinner into a memorable experience for our family. What made her service even more impressive was that she appeared to be the only waitress handling 20+ tables all by herself. Despite being incredibly busy, she never seemed rushed or overwhelmed. She maintained a friendly, welcoming atmosphere throughout the restaurant and still made us feel like a priority. My wife has a pork allergy, and Brook took the time to make sure it wouldn’t interfere with her meal. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and proactive in helping us navigate the menu so my wife could enjoy a fantastic meal without worry. The level of care and attention she provided while managing such a large workload was truly remarkable. Great food is important, but great people are what bring customers back. Between the excellent food and Brook’s exceptional service, Fun Noodle Bar earned a glowing recommendation from us. We’ll definitely be back.
