Food is great but the customer service and the wait time is just ridiculous. I had to leave without getting my coffee cause I had ended up waiting 30 minutes and wasting my lunch break. And no it wasn’t super busy, but there was only one front of house staff working which wasn’t fair on him. Order type: Take out Meal type: Lunch

Hi Alyssaneden,It would be awesome if you could email us at info@gfeats.com.au with some more info. We run with a minimum 1.5 team members up the front & our longest wait on drinks all week was 22 mins that went out on an iced latte to a lovely lady on Saturday. We haven't had a male barista on since Friday so stewing over a 2 star review for 2 days seems a bit stressful. Did you follow up at all during this time. Our point of sale reporting suggest we just had our busiest week in months, so not exaclty sure how you measure busy. Super pleased you loved our food, it is what we have built on reputation on for the last 9 years & its sad to think even though yoy mention how good it was you can justify 2 stars for a small business trying very hard to provide a safe coeliac business.

Holy guacamole! This place is epic. I’m typically not interested and even disgusted by the thought of gluten free food (sorry gf-ers!) but this was possibly the most peng gluten free food I have ever tasted. I started with the Cheesecake caramel brownie (?), and boy did that set the bar high! Lusciously rich and thick, it was packed with chocolatey caramel goodness. Soft and decedent, it may very well be the best brownie i’ve ever had, with or without gluten. Generally, i’ve found gluten free food items to be grainy or have an odd texture however this was absolutely not the case! It was phenomenal. Also a plus that it was giant- pretty much the size of two brownies. Next I tried a donut ball. O.M.G. I believe donuts are one of the rare beauties of our world. Crunchy and airy, yet dense and fresh, the donuts were scrumptious - so delicious that they simply could not be captured in the mere english language. They were oily to an extent that moistened them, though not overwhelming, and it only added to the pleasurable experience of the meal. I also had the privilege of trying their cheeseburger. I was skeptical, as you probably are, reading this review. I know- the thought of gluten free bread scares most of us, but once again, the food was mouthwatering. The bread was unexpectedly soft, it did have a slight different texture but if I didn’t know that it was gluten free, I never would have guessed. Each component of the burger harmonised with eachother, ascending to a crescendo which sang for my tastebuds. The sweet and punchy onions, rich, moist beef, creamy American-style cheese, sweet and flavourful tomato sauce and soft plump bread resulted in a divine swell of tastiness. What more can I say? GF eats surprised me, impressed me, and encouraged me to neglect my food biases. Finger-licking good, I say. #yummy #peng #glutenfreedoesntalwayssuck.
