We thank you for your feedback and lament that our policies have had to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, which currently only allows hotels to accept essential travel under State guidelines. We have been working with the City of Anderson and the County in order to ensure help to protect our community. For the past several months, most of our rooms have been occupied by firefighters battling the Zogg and August Complex fires, as well as those that were forced to evacuate due to fires and power outages. It is our hope that we will be able to get back to offering non-essential stays for locals. As you know, many area hotels have not accepted reservations from locals for ages while we had always resisted this policy. Once the pandemic is over, we will work to get things back to normal.
