You absolutely have to try the pastries at this hidden gem. Tucked away inside the former DFS Duty Free shop on the Harrington Street side of The Rocks, this nondescript cafe hides a wonderful world of artisanal treats. It’s clear a skilled pâtissier is at work here. Today, I tried their Dubai Chocolate Mochi Cake, created for the Banksy exhibition currently in Sydney - and it’s phenomenal. It’s perfectly balanced; the slight bitterness of the dark chocolate beautifully elevates the rich pistachio filling. I’m already eyeing their other cakes for my next visit. Bonus: they also do custom cake orders! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great coffee, great food, and fantastic service! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about both food and coffee—she has a degree in the culinary arts, and it truly shows. The cappuccino was excellent, the cold brew was just as good, and the croissant topped it all off. She’s also genuinely sweet and made us feel right at home. Amazing food and an all-around wonderful experience! Price per person: $1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
