I wrestled about going to this place. As I walked the surrounding area, scouring for a great place to enjoy a relaxing meal, and yet nothing seemed to hit that cord. Gapohan is ostensibly more than I expected, especially since I spent an hour searching for a place. If your unsure, make this a must go to, and try the chef’s contemporary cuisine experience. He was patient with my ambivalence, and in the final analysis: worth trying. If this was in my neighborhood, I would be a regular. And if you’re lucky enough, you’ll have a frequent patron treat you to a premium Japanese sake. Kanpai!
