My rating is changing to a lower rating because on every turn when I come here outside of the day time I have issues ordering drinks I have issues ordering food. Tonight I just called to order food I have never been told the grill is shut down no matter what at 12 for burgers at this bar only when this cook is on shift. Only when my fiance come in with this cook we have issues. Or food has been made wrong 2 time with this cook after we complained about it the first time. And now after we just were in the bar in the last 7days 2-3times in the day have never been informed that one of us is 86 from the property.. We will most likely start just going to the nite hawk for the evening cuz it’s just becoming ridiculous. We just wanted food tonight for dinner and instead because we like our food a certain way we have become a problem for this cook an his buddy friend of coworkers in the evening. It sucks because this is a business we love to eat an have drinks at being our neighborhood bar. Guess we are forced to just find something different for our evening drinks. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I’ve come here before and service used to be good but the new bartender Asian guy charged us $30 for 2 double well shots of tequila, not sure when the prices changed or what but def never coming back here. Shots are the same price at the clubs district casa etc downtown and better service there. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Fantastic dive bar. So many dives in Portland feel very manufactured these days. George's Corner feels authentic with a modest tap list but extensive bottles, cans and liquor, and a great menu. The bacon bleu burger was excellent and the fries were perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
