currently laying here at this supposed to be luxury hotel... after being woke up via a wedding party firework display.. we booked this room in February as I am taking part in outlaw triathlon tomorrow an will be up at 3am to make my way to the venue.. thinking we had got a great place as it's pretty close. . 3 days before this date we had an email to say there was a private function and may be some noise. we got here and it was a wedding (fair enough) was noise throughout the night but around 9pm slit seemed to settle a little untill 10.40pm a massive firework display went off and last ed around 15 min... are room is basically in the loft area with no windows to open or close ourselves but we have a skylight window wide open we can't reach so the noise and the lights was like we was part of the display. now Im not tired and annoyed yet have a long endurance event coming up. while I'm here on a rant the place for £251 for 2 nights with no extra and pretty much nothing complimentary stuff only usual cheap biscuits and bar of soap I've stayed in much better places at Blackpool for a fraction of the price and without private functions.. also the room we are in is out dated,not the cleanest and comes with only a fan for Aircon(again not even a window we can open ) also the door does not lock from the inside so kind of didn't trust it . absolutely not worth the money

was just having a walk today as its closed but would definitely recommend Colwick Hall anyway
