I have to say, this was one of the best Mexican meals I’ve had in a while. I ordered the skirt steak taco platter and everything on the plate worked. The steak had a great char on the outside, was cooked beautifully inside, and had a ton of flavor. The tacos come with rice, beans, cabbage, pico de gallo, guacamole and different salsas, so you can pretty much build each one exactly how you want it. And the guacamole deserves a mention because they give you a very generous portion. No searching around the plate for one sad little spoonful of guac here. What I really liked was that the food still felt familiar and comforting, but not like the same Mexican food I’ve had a hundred times before. You can tell Ghost Ranch puts its own Southwest spin on things without trying too hard to make everything fancy. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was excellent, and I left already thinking about what I want to try next time. Definitely going back. The food was aweful, ordered a $20.00 chili relleno and it was stuffed with grated mushrooms and no cheese at all. It was terrible. The cornbread was burnt and had not taste to it. Got a corn and chees dip which was good but didn’t give you enough chips with it and didn’t offer to give us more. The lemonade said home made but it was sweet and sour mix over ice. It was sour and aweful. They give you sink water when you sit down and it taste like it. Spent $60.00 and couldn’t even eat the food.
