Brenda is amazing and the food is somehow better. If you desire breakfast or anything fried or even Mexican. This woman can cook. She is swift and incredibly priced for 2026. This restaurant is like stepping back into time. If you are looking for great smells, food and atmosphere. Check out Grandma Johanna's Home Style Cooking. You will not be sorry. Also, there is a drive thru. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

St Patrick’s day Jigg’s dinner was SUPER! Corn beef slow cooked for hour not just a baked chewy hunk of shoe leather. Wife and I loved it! Tried to get leftovers but I was too late-they were closed.

We are Sunnysiders, born and raised here. We have eaten at the best high priced restaurants in Detroit, Tucson, Chicago, and Mexico City, even at Paco’s Tacos in Hawaii, but Brenda is a gem of a cook here. We skipped a crowded restaurant and chose the gizzard shack because of the 1.85 breakfast burrito, but I had to try the taco, chalupa, and enchilada! Wow! You can go to the high priced places, but you would be missing some great Mexican food in an open air table Advice from a hungry old hippie
