the service is impeccable, the food is impeccable, and the atmosphere is fabulous! Our waiter/ ess is such a delight. If I could remember her name,I'd say" give her a raise,she is an asset to your restaurant ".

When I love something, I love it and I overdose on it. Out of all the times I’ve come to Godfrey’s flagship, I have never experienced poor customer service….. until today. And you all know I’m always recommending Godfrey’s. Amber, our server, was HORRIBLE. In fact, BEYOND HORRIBLE. And it takes me a lot for me to say someone was horrible. I overly make excuses for people. After the kitchen runner brought the food, she never stopped to ask if we needed anything. I wanted hot sauce with my oxtails…that I never received. My guest wanted a refill on his sweet tea which he never received. The whole time, she never stopped to check in.. I ordered a drink that I had to ask the bartender to bring… after it set at the bar for the longest. This experience is funny because the last time I posted Godfrey’s in my story with the caption, “Godfey’s never misse, someone commented, how bad of experience they always have and I commented, “I have never experienced that. (Check comments.) Then, this tops the cake, I asked for the manager on duty….which was a TOTAL waste. She listened with this smirk as if I was lying. She never apologized. She stated, “I’ll talk to her about it.” Amber then proceeds to walk past our table several times with the same smirk like, “You asking for the manager didn’t do anything.” If they check my record at Godfrey’s, I tip and I tip well. Today, she received $0.00. I did tip the bartender, April, who is always great. She goes over and beyond. They won’t receive a dime of my hard earned money again.

This is what I am going to say about Godfrey's there food is pretty good but the service is awful if you're with a group. My experience this evening at Godfrey that they can handle serving couples but can't handle a group that made reservations. The servers and staff lack communication . Reservations of 15 were made at 630pm and sat at 645pm, and placed drink orders at 7pm, most of us didn't get our drinks until one of the meals came out and that was 750pm, many of us were missing sides, and food was cold due to waiting on the rest of our 850pm. oh yeah, the music was too freaking loud for a server to hear your order. if management, the server, or the kitchen would communicate that service would take a minute it would lighten the load of waiting so long. I canceled my order b/c everyone's order was coming out except for mine. Hopefully, Godfrey's communicate with their customers better b/c this was awful
