It has become a favourite when we visit Melbourne. Nice place and great ramen; you can taste the care and experience. The staff is friendly, we will be back again! Hands down the best ramen in Melbourne. Gogyo Fitzroy delivers a standout experience from start to finish. I had the Tonkotsu Modern Ramen, and it was phenomenal — a rich, silky broth with deep umami, beautifully balanced with just the right amount of fat. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the toppings, especially the tender chashu and perfectly cooked egg, brought everything together. We also shared the gyoza, which were crisp on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavour — a perfect appetizer. To finish, we had the matcha kuzuneri, a light, refreshing dessert with a lovely earthy sweetness and smooth, jelly-like texture. It was a great way to end such a bold and hearty meal. The real highlight, though, is the depth of flavour in everything — particularly the ramen broth, which is rich and powerful without being overwhelming. The space itself has a sleek, modern feel with a warm, welcoming vibe, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. If you're serious about ramen, Gogyo is a must-visit. Easily one of the best bowls you’ll find in Melbourne — I’ll absolutely be back!
