I am actually currently sitting in the parking lot at the facility as I speak. One of my older daughters came to the drive through to pick up her food and her siblings food. When she got home with the food, our ten year old daughter's chicken was not completely cooked. All of the other food was fine. Once they finished the rest of the food they returned to the facility with the chicken in a bag and asked for it to just be replaced. A lady by the name of paula looked at the food and said it looked fine to her and would not replace it or refund their money. My daughter proceeded to tell her that it tasted funny and did not look fully cooked. The lady still refused and told her that it was cooked with the rest of the chicken that we received. So it should be fine. My daughter showed her the receipt and everything, and she still would not refund the money. They drove back home, told me what happened. And then I came up to the facility myself. Paula was not pleasant. She tried to make me look stupid and ask her cook if the food looked done to him and told me that she thought it was done and was still going to refuse to do anything about it. He stated that it could be the batter. As I was standing there, she started yelling at another employee about a different situation and was very unprofessional. I explained to her that we live in a small town and we would love to do business here to keep our town growing, but the way she acted is insane, which makes us not want to come back. This was the third time in about a year that our chicken was not done. And we had never said anything until now. I wish I could leave a positive review, but that is not the case. So sorry to hear this, that experience sounds unacceptable. Not fully cooked chicken and the way Paula handled it fall short of how we want to treat neighbors. Excellent chicken tenders kinda makes me think if long John silvers was a mainly chicken spot instead of fish. Being that L.J.S. isn't around here anymore it did give the feeling of nostalgia. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have never eaten at a Golden Chick before, but I don't think I want to again either. The fried okra was not good. The chicken wasn't all that great either. I don't know if we just wanted a bad time of day or what but I don't recommend it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4
