Puedes pedir su sorprendente pollo frito, su sabrosa ensalada de col o su casero pescado frito. Te propondrán un singular helado. Do not get roasted chicken here. It’s much better in Mineola. Asked manager if this is normally how their roasted chicken looks and he said yes. To be fair, he offered another leg, but I declined because I was not looking for freebies. I just wanted to make sure he was aware of the product his store put out. He had no problem with it. I will not be back. Also, please notice the size of the chicken. The roll is bigger than either piece!!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

James, we're really sorry the roasted chicken and portion size missed the mark. That is not the experience we want. Thanks for flagging the store's product and the manager's reaction, this feedback matters and will be passed along so improvements can be made.

I have been eating golden chick since I was a kid in Waco,TX. As a kid was always fascinated with the egg machine inside. Put a quarter in an have a chance to get a golden egg! Now im older an was excited to bring my son in for the experience! They open up a brand new store in Tyler tx so I was excited to bring my son. The first day they opened the egg machine did not work. We have since been there over 10 more times eating and checking on the machine and it still does not work! Here we are again 6/21/26 AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK! im not saying im not going back but it is really disappointing to deal with staff that acts like they would rather be at any other place on top of the egg machine not working. I am use to the long wait times, and short staff, just fix the egg machine!!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Brandon, we're really sorry this tradition was spoiled. It's disappointing the egg machine hasn't worked and staff seemed disengaged. Your memories matter, and this isn't the experience we want for families. We'll address this with the team so future visits feel like the celebration they should be.
