The food is great, but how are they always out of chicken. When there be no customers barely in there. The staff just seem to be playing around instead of doing their jobs. Like I said the food is great. It’s just the evening shift workers. During the day they are great! And I regularly go in, and always disappointed lately, I be the only one in their and there out of chicken already. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Najah, we're really sorry to hear this. Glad the food hits right, but disappointed about repeated evening shortages and staff not stepping up. That is not okay. Your feedback matters and will be shared with the team so evening service returns to the daytime standard. Hope the next visit feels much better.

First time customers! Drive thru not busy and easy to understand. The drive thru attendant was extremely patient and helpful. We ordered the 12pc. Fried Chicken Family with 2 extra sides and additional rolls. Waited approximately 5-10 minutes after paying. The drinks came and their sizes were larger than expected! We got two large bags of piping hot food and decided to drive home to enjoy our food! Drove home to Douglass Kansas and the food was still piping hot, much to our surprise! Got the plain fried chicken and after a few bites, made the comments that the food was very hot, very moist and just amazing! No additional seasoning was really needed! I'm an old time Church's Chicken customer and this recipe reminded me of Church's Chicken!! No more KFC for us anymore we've found the Best Fried Chicken in South Central Kansas!! Too bad there aren't any other locations in this area of Kansas, I'm sure they'd do quite well!! Golden Chick is now our choice for Fried and Baked Chicken dinners! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Henry, we're glad the drive thru was smooth and the 12pc Family meal hit the spot. It's awesome to hear the chicken was hot, moist, and tasty, and that Golden Chick feels like home. Thanks for choosing us in South Central Kansas, we appreciate the kind words and your trust.
