Golden House always serves good food. A lot of restaurants use subpar, frozen ingredients whereas Golden House uses fresh produce and to-order sauces. Their vegetarian dishes use generous amounts of tofu, not just skins, and their hot and sour soup is the best. The homemade dumplings are also excellent, whether you get the vegetable or meat-based version. And Golden House’s dumpling sauce is very delicious, too. Also, the owners are very nice and honest people. I left something at the restaurant and didn’t realize it, and they held onto it for me for over a month to make sure I got it back next time I stopped in. I have been going to Golden House for over twenty years, and they remain one of my favorite restaurants in the area to this day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
