This Ballard bar nails the sweet spot between craft and chaos. The cocktails come out looking like moody little masterpieces, the hot‑dog‑centric menu leans fully into comfort food energy, and the whole place is wrapped in a sense of humor!!! From Wu‑Tang bathroom art to a giant dino named Jeffy holding court by the window. It’s stylish, weird, and wildly fun in all the right ways. We got the mini quesadilla and we asked to have it topped with mini hot dogs and they did it for us. The bartenders were nice to talk to you! Great place for a gathering or a party if you had a group of people. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good Grief is a fantastic new neighborhood cocktail bar in Ballard. The drinks are interesting and approachable, and service was quick and friendly. We tried several cocktails but the highlights for me were the Parsnipple Twist and the Truffle Shuffle. I've not had a milk punk on a carbonated draft before, and the texture ends up truly exceptional
