This place was fantastic when I ate there. I've tried about 3 different meals everyone of them was a five star rating. I heard they moved out of the Airport to Iowa Park and is now called Doorway to Gourmet. If it is the same I'm excited to try it out.

***UPDATE - CLOSED***I've been told that southern girl catering will open early July. I'm sad to see it close, we will see what happens!--------Sunday Brunch is good. If you happen to be out by the airport, it is worth your time. The airport is pretty quiet. Don't forget to have them validate your parking, unless you like paying for parking.

Great potential, but missed the mark. Driving through Wichita Falls on a Sunday, who would've thought to stop at the little airport for gourmet. With all of the reviews, my wife and I were really enthusiastic about find a hidden gem. Well we kind of found a polished rock that could have been a true diamond in the rough. Service was horrible. We saw a total of five employees come in and out of the kitchen door, and even with that 10min after sitting down the young lady behind the bar had to interrupt the other staff talking to each other to ask them to come take our order. The whole demeanor was just weird. Ok so not too much damage so far. I ordered the pretzel bun turkey melt with garlic Parmesan fries. The Mrs have the grilled chicken apple, cranberry, pecan salad. The fries were great, the salad was delivered without the grilled chicken, and the turkey melt had a burnt smell. All of this left me very disappointed after reading all of the awesome reviews. Could this have been a fluke? Maybe..... but it will be my last fluke at Gourmet on the Fly.
