Working away on my own, I walked in and from the minute I did I knew it was going to be a great place. As I left I asked the front staff their names for this review. I was met by Christy who showed me to my table. Great choice of real ales and a good choice from the menu. I asked about one of the Pizza ingredients and Christy knew the answer straight away. 2 pints of real ale and a very nice pizza. Lily was also serving and the conversation and banter from both of them was brilliant. They definitely appreciate and include the customer. Their attention and conversation is brilliant, really friendly. The only down side is that Grain is nearly 5 hours away from me. Definitely give this place a go it’s really good and deserves the 5 star review. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great welcome and intro to Grain - personal touch - good range of pizza which turned up promptly and was top quality - light dough with crisp touch , toppings were plentiful without causing sogginess. Food was to notch but the service made it for us tonight - now to go and look for plates! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
