The customer service here is great and the views are outstanding. We sat next to the big window facing Wacker street and just enjoyed the view. I ordered French toast as it was not in the buffet and my husband ordered the buffet. I had to go downstairs to order flavor coffee as they didn't have it here ( a bit disappointing). The blackberry banana smoothie was really good. My French toast came out so gummy I sent them back. They said they sail them overnight and they cook them just so the edges are crisp which makes the inside wet. I am not sure why this place won't have a convention oven that cooks from the inside out. They did allow me to just eat something off the buffet since I was so hungry I ate a bowl of potatoes and they sent me some more French toast they said these are well done. Now when I go to restaurants I will make sure I order my French toast well done.( hahaha). My husband didn't too much like the pancakes from the buffet but he loved the waffles. They were really nice here they comp'd the French toast and didn't charge me for the potatoes. I appreciate how the accommodated us.

I have to hand it to this place for handling a large crowd of us(22) in a great way. We had a lunch reservation for 20, they readily accommodated the extra 2 people. They had 2 servers waiting on us. Drinks came out very fast. They were very effective at taking everyone's order. All the food came out correctly except for 1 pizza didn't have the requested toppings. What's the chances of that happening with such a large group? Everyone enjoyed their food, not a complaint from anyone & we were in & out of there in about an hour. I set this up being a little concerned on how this would work out with such a large group & they handled it great. Their prices are on the high side but not unexpected given the hotel & location.

You can't beat the vibe of this hotel. Slick, cool but so inviting. Perhaps my favorite hotel in the city. The Great Street restaurant on the second floor has a fantastic view of the river and down Michigan Ave. Just steps to the Riverwalk as well. Our meal was top notch. Excellent Caesar Salad with sliced grilled steak. Hubby had the turkey burger and liked it as well. Another in our party had an ooey-gooey drippy double cheeseburger and onion rings which they gave a thumbs up. Only thing lacking was the service. Only a couple of full tables and it took awhile to be seated and waited on. The server had kind of a cranky attitude. Maybe she was just having a bad day.... happens to the best of us I suppose.
