Do NOT dine in. Not many people there and still slow service. I tipped 15% and the waiter was rude, like he expected more? He was talking to a waitress, kept pointing at our table. Food was generic yet premium price. Maybe Pick-Up is better but I won’t be coming back!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

My friend and I went to Great Taste Chinese Restaurant in New Britain since we were in the area. I remembered reading some positive reviews from my friends on Yelp about this place. When we arrived I noticed, they have lots of awards and articles they've been published in and received all framed on the wall. The dining room is very spacious and clean. Each table had a bouquet of fresh carnations on it. We decided to get stir fry vegetables with shrimp and white rice. We also got a soup each, I got the Egg Drop and my friend got the Wonton soup. My Egg Drop soup arrived and it was hot, but it was missing something it was very bland. My friend enjoyed her Wonton soup. We shared the vegetables with shrimp, we knew that getting two portions would be too much food. We got white rice with our meal. It was delicious. There was plenty of shrimp, it was cooked well, everything was very fresh, perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The service was fast and pleasant. They came around to fill our waters frequently. I would come here again.
