I recently had an absolutely brilliant experience at Grill'd, and honestly, it really cemented why it's one of my go-to spots for a fantastic burger. What truly made this visit special, though, was the incredible service I received from one of their team members, Fynn Murphy. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the promise of a fresh, healthy burger was already appealing. Fynn really stood out with their exceptional customer service. They were so welcoming and genuinely attentive, making sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. I had a couple of questions about the menu, and Fynn was super knowledgeable, offering great recommendations that perfectly matched what I was in the mood for. Their positive energy was infectious, and it really felt like they genuinely cared about making my dining experience as enjoyable as possible. It's rare to encounter such a thoughtful and engaging level of service. The food, as always, was top-notch – my burger was cooked perfectly, and the chips were just right. But honestly, Fynn's outstanding contribution took the whole meal from great to truly memorable. It's those little interactions that make a big difference, and Fynn absolutely nailed it. If you're heading to Grill'd, I highly recommend it, and if you happen to be served by Fynn Murphy, you're in for an even better time! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely great meal killed by absolutely poor service, greeting us and asking what we were looking for which was lovely but then proceeding to stand there and didn’t point or anything said grab some menus and there is a table over there. Hello over where? We had to look for it. Normally get checked on and sticks get turned, we most definitely did not get that. Watched multiple times front of house staff not doing their job, brought our meals to the table and not one of our drinks, then cleared other tables and didn’t wipe them down, other customers having to ask to wipe tables and you’d be lucky to get the crumbs wiped off it was that bad. Right as we received our food in influx of people walked in and we acknowledge busy times but front of house staff didn’t assist anyone in the outside seating area, stood in front of the bench dumbfounded a lot of the time and lost menus then scrambled to find some from people still using them. Some serious front of house training needed but amazing kitchen and behind the counter service making up for all the front of house deficits. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

2 out of the last 3 visits, my burger has been missing key ingredients. The first time, I’d already taken a couple of bites before realising. They took the burger away, added the missing ingredients, and then brought back the same partially eaten burger — which was now cold. The most recent time, I kindly pointed out that ingredients were missing again, and the staff member just said “sorry” before walking off and continuing on. On all 3 visits, the chips have also been cold and tasted like leftovers. Unfortunately, while the prices have increased significantly, the level of care and customer service just doesn’t seem to be there anymore. Sadly, I’ll be giving this place a miss from now on. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
