I saw a few people trickle in and out, and orders being fulfilled for others but not mine. I heard an Alma bowl being called but some lady next to me got up and came back with it- so must not have been mine. It had been 40 minutes, and I knew sometimes it takes time but I was getting antsy- and a bit irritated... my baby was hungry.
I just decided I didn't want the trouble, I just wanted to feed my baby- and walked up to the counter for a refund.
The man disclosed that they tried calling both my name and an Alma bowl multiple times, as he pointed to a 3/4 melted Alma bowl on the counter. I was so disappointed. I said you never once called my name otherwise I would have been right here. He clarified "well after a couple times, we figured that might not have been your name and just called for an Alma bowl." I just sighed and asked for a refund. He said "since we called your name we can only refund you a gift card" that's total crap. "You just said you didn't think you had my name right, I don't want issues, I just want my money back." I don't pull the pregnancy card often and in this instance I didn't want to make a scene- I seriously just wanted to feed my baby before I got hysterical. He walked to the back and out came another girl who didn't speak a word to me and then after a few clicks told me the money should be back in my account after 24 hours. Why was that so difficult? Poor customer service for okay food...
