I give this place 3 stars because the food was good. Although, once we were done and ready to pay, nobody mentioned to us when we walked in or throughout the meal that they just took cash. We put the card on the table and waited and waited and no one still had the means to tell us they just took cash? My fiance had to get up and walk to the server to give it to her and then she finally said we only take cash. And to top it all of we had to withdraw money from the ATM which charges an almost $4 on top. They should let everyone know that walks in, to avoid inconveniences because for some it's their first time going to the restaurant.

Gulfstream Restaurant delivered the exact Calabash-style food I was hoping for. Reasonably priced seafood, incredible daily specials that even more wallet-friendly, and mouth watering, juicy friend chicken. Our table also had the chicken and pastry and a basket of hushpuppies, and every single thing was incredible. The mac and cheese left a bit to be desired, but anything that came out fried came out incredible, from the shrimp to the hushpuppies.As we dined in, we also saw many locals in the restaurant, even chatted with them about their opinions of the food and the crowd agrees that the food here is absolutely incredible for a quick bite.Speaking of which, the service here is incredibly fast. I'm impressed with how well the servers handled any request we had with a smile. The entire experience was amazing.I've been looking for a restaurant to eat at during my beach trips and I'm confident Gulfstream Restaurant will be a place I return to.
