Really wanted to love this place. Would go back to try again as I think it was our servers first night but it was not entirely his fault either. It started off with being one menu short and then not taking everyone’s drink over at the same time leaving only one person who had not ordered and was simply overlooked. When the appetizers hit the table and meal was out literally two minutes causing an over crowded table and no opportunity to simply enjoy the appetizers and our drinks. Additionally a coup we ordered as an appetizer never came out but showed up on the bill at the ended (we then had it removed) Ordered a chocolate milk for our three year old and the server said “they refused to make me a chocolate one so I brought a regular milk”. They messed up our kids food. It was a grilled cheese and pasta but they brought two pastas. My second drink seemed to be made with the wrong liquor or something leading me to send it back which the sever then returned with the drink made correctly (the transfusion). All in all the service and experience were horrible but the atmosphere seemed like it could be a very fun one at night. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Kid-friendliness: Eh they have a kids menu but per our waiter “the kitchen refused to make a chocolate milk so here’s a regular milk”.

The food is very good but the service could use some improvement ( at least for lunch) . A lot of young Gen Z servers just standing around and staring at you. No communication about food taking too long. One entree was brought out 20 minutes before the other. I would recommend more training or having someone with a bit more experience running the floor. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

My experience at Gully's was outstanding. The servers were so helpful and nice. I recommend the seseme seared ahi tuna in a wanton. If you are ever in Avalon Gully's is a great option. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $30–40 Parking options: Free of charge street parking Kid-friendliness: outstanding
