This was my first time trying Japanese street food and I absolutely loved it. Gushi is located on Market 707 on Dundas West (they have another location on Gerrard Street, with different hours of operation) and they have a few picnic tables available in front of the market for you to sit down and enjoy your meal in a casual vibe. They have great customer service; very friendly and helpful staff; we were asking many questions about menu and he patiently helped us pick the right options. We ordered "Hot Maple Chicken Skewer" and "Takoyaki" for appetizer, "Original Chicken Karaage Bento", "Shrimp Fry Curry Rice" and "Nanban Beef Katsu Rice Bowl" for main, and "Mochi Trio" and "3 Color Dango Mochi" for dessert. Everything was presented very nicely and tasted amazing. My favorites were Takoyaki and Original Chicken Karaage Bento. In my opinion, Bento is a must-try here.

2024 May 3 Located on an open street among other street vendors, this one serves Japanese faire. Snack Basket $14 2 pieces of Karaage Chicken 3 pieces of Takoyaki 1 potato Croquette + Spicy mayo dip It's ok. Probably the chicken was the best, but it's overall just ok. A few tables along the street. If it is raining, there are tables you can use in the community center. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
