What an experience! It’s like you went on a meat tour!!! Syunsuke San is so kind and explains with great detail what the meat is and how to best enjoy it. AND he can speak English!! He is very sensitive to how long eat price of meat should cook for to fully enjoy the flavors. I had no idea that meat could be this soft and tender, it literally melts in your mouth! Especially the ones where the cows were fed strawberries- it’s a very clean taste- really flavorful! Also! You get ice cream at the end for dessert! Price per person: ¥6,000–7,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I WISH I COULD GET STEAK AND PORK LIKE THIS IN AMERICA! One of the best meals I’ve had in my life, no exaggeration. Gyusuke specializes in Tochigi Wagyu and Tochigi Yume Pork, all dry-aged in-house. That aging process makes a difference you can actually taste. The beef had a deep, rich umami that built with every bite, and the pork was so tender and sweet it barely tasted like pork. I wish I could get steak and pork like this in America! The course menu is the move. On the higher-tier courses, the owner grills tableside and walks you through each cut personally. Small, intimate spot near Sano Station. Go and try it. You won’t regret it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
