The customer service was amazing, I have a rare food allergy and normally find it hard to eat in restaurants but both the server and chefs were very attentive and helpful. They were able to customise the fish of the day so it was safe to eat. Even though they had customised the dish to suit my allergies it was very tasty even the tomato’s and cucumber was delicious, the fish was as fresh as can be and my husband enjoyed his meal immensely also (the rice is amazing). This is genuine Greek cuisine with fine dining standards but with prices so reasonable we felt as if we were stealing. This is THE PLACE to eat in Rethymno. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning. A favoured spot of the locals. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hasika is a brilliantly created fusion take on Greek cuisine. The atmosphere is intimate, in a quiet and cozy location, and you can really feel that it’s a place loved by locals as well. The staff is incredibly kind, and you can fully trust their recommendations if you’re unsure what to eat or drink. Both the starter and the main course were flawless. We especially preferred the local specialties, such as the lamb and fish dishes. The dessert was the absolute highlight. Especially the pistachio and chocolate dessert, definitely save some space in your stomach for that one! The local wine selection is also excellent, with many natural and organic wines available. Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
