Lawrence bakes the most perfect Sourdough Loaves in Hackney and I love the delivery service he offers. If u haven’t tried this before u must. The Malted Levain with Buckwheat, Cranberry & Pecan was the best fruit loaf I have ever tasted. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic experience. Small groups make it so easy to grasp the basics to really understanding the principles of sourdough making. Lawrence is a great host, and made the day really enjoyable. And lunch was delicious!! I’d highly recommend to anyone thinking of giving bread-making a try. Awesome !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It’s been a while since I wanted to attend a bread-making course, but most of the ones I found had large groups of attendees. Then I discovered Hackney Bread Kitchen—and what a fantastic day I had! It felt like baking bread with a group of friends in a cozy shed. Lawrence has so much knowledge and shares it in such an approachable way. The setup is perfect, and the experience is hands-on from start to finish. The best part? You leave with freshly baked bread and dough to bake at home. I honestly can’t recommend this course enough! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
