I had a wonderful time at Hackney Bridge in London. The atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and full of character. There was a great mix of independent food vendors, unique shops, and creative spaces, making it a fantastic place to explore and relax. The staff and vendors were friendly, the area was clean and well maintained, and there was a real sense of community. Whether you're looking for delicious food, live entertainment, or just somewhere different to spend a few hours with friends or family, Hackney Bridge is definitely worth a visit. I really enjoyed my experience and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a lively and enjoyable destination in East London. I look forward to visiting again soon. Very cool food hall with lots of options, plenty of seat and good vibes. It was my first visit, I don't live locally and was well impressed: maybe it doesn't feel brand new but it feels real and welcoming, there is lots of seats outside too. Those fans installed on the celling look nice but with this weather don't help a lot, and I don't think they got AC. Noticed brands I like a lot, specially Fili Grillz, they are getting more and more popular. Puglia Pizza is there too. It's clean and tidy, staff is visible, same with security, if I lived closer that would be my spot to hang out. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The UK is becoming increasingly frustrating and, frankly, inconvenient. It’s the World Cup, yet we can’t even watch football in an open public space with large screens because areas have been taken over by people who aren’t interested in the event. We arrived expecting a communal viewing, only to be told it was a ticketed event for England’s match and already sold out, unless we paid £20 to get in. Everything feels overly monetised. While I understand that safety may be part of the reason for ticketing, if that’s the case, the experience inside should actually justify the cost. Better ventilation, air conditioning, and a stronger fan atmosphere would go a long way for the tv screens inside but you want me to pay 20 for an open space outside. On top of that, an interaction with security made us uncomfortable. A guard approached us in a way that felt like racial profiling, questioning who was supposedly smoking weed. It didn’t escalate, but it was unnecessary and awkward. In 2026, it’s disappointing that marijuana is still treated in such a criminalising manner, especially when enforcement feels selective and alcohol in which you sell is worse. Football should be about community, enjoyment, and shared experiences — not discomfort, suspicion, or constant attempts to extract money from fans. Not everything needs to be monetised, and creating uncomfortable environments only pushes people away. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
