A True Hidden Gem in Betong – Fee Fix Restaurant Fee Fix Restaurant gave me one of the most memorable food experiences I’ve had in years. I had the best roti canai with curry ayam here, so good that it instantly brought me back to my childhood. The last time I tasted a roti canai this delicious was when I was 10 years old and after so many years, Fee Fix managed to revive that exact nostalgic flavour. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired with a rich, flavourful curry ayam absolutely outstanding. I then ordered a half-boiled egg, fell in love with it immediately and ordered it again. Despite having travelled almost half of the world, I can honestly say I have never tasted a half-boiled egg like this before. Perfect texture, perfectly cooked, simple yet exceptional. Next was the mee goon soup, which exceeded expectations. The soup was incredibly tasty and comforting and the chicken was remarkably tender. Following that, I tried the chicken porridge, and the owner kindly suggested adding a half-boiled egg on top. I agreed and it turned out to be a brilliant recommendation. The porridge was rich, smooth and deeply satisfying. Even now, I can still remember the taste on my tongue. I also ordered green tea and coffee, both of which were excellent, well-prepared and very enjoyable. What truly impressed me was the generous portion sizes, great value for money and most importantly, the warm hospitality. The staff took time to explain each dish, were extremely friendly, and made the entire experience feel personal and welcoming. Fee Fix Restaurant is a family-run establishment that has been operating for 17 years, and you can truly feel the love and consistency in their food. The owner, Ms. Aisyah, is a very kind and gracious lady, thank you so much for the wonderful experience. As a bonus, the restaurant even offers free WiFi for customers. Although the setup is simple, the food quality is exceptional. Without hesitation, I can say this is one of the must-try food spots in Betong. Personally, this is my number one food experience in Betong, even after trying chicken rice, seafood, and various Thai dishes over the past week. I will definitely return to try everything again if time permits. Highly recommended — a true hidden gem. ️ Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
