Absolutely outstanding experience at Halifax Donair! Savored a perfectly prepared, generously filled medium donair on pita that was delightfully messy. The richness of the sauce took it to another level. Even my 12-year-old son couldn’t resist! Definitely deserving of a full 5-star rating. There is no "atmosphere" here. It is a take-away donair shop. That being said though, these are THE BEST donairs outside of Halifax and even then, they are better than most WITHIN Halifax! I have been a customer, since the their first month of operations, 15 years ago and I will be VERY sad, when Halifax Donair closes at month's end!!!! Parking: There are 3 parking areas here. A small on directly in front, a slightly larger one at one side and a much larger one behind the mall. ALL parking is free. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes: Donair in a Pita Bread Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
