Don’t get the steak sub from this place. It had four tiny pieces of meat—barely anything close to what you’d expect. On top of that, the owner argued with me about it instead of trying to fix the situation, which made the whole experience even worse. I drove an hour to get there, so it was especially frustrating to be treated like that after spending the time and money. Definitely not worth the trip, and I won’t be going back. Absolutely Fantastic Lunch Experience at Hamido! I went to Hamido Restaurant on Friday for lunch and ordered their Family Platter for Two — and wow, it was easily one of the best Mediterranean meals I’ve had in a long time! The platter came with two soft, fresh naans, perfectly grilled shish kabobs, juicy beef skewers, a generous side of crispy fries, fresh salads, and their signature hummus that’s just out of this world — smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Everything was served fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. The portion size was spot-on — more than enough for two people. You can really tell they care about quality and authenticity in every bite. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and clean — ideal for a relaxing Friday lunch. Highly recommend Hamido if you’re craving quality Middle Eastern food done right. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!
